Who can earn
Unlock requirements
Points are a beta feature for Dare Drop creators. While the beta runs, two things unlock them.

Later: we aim to open points to every creator on Dare Drop, whatever the channel size and whether you stream on Twitch, YouTube or TikTok.
How to earn
Five steps from a Points Drop to points on your account.
Find a Points Drop
Drops with points show the Points logo on the Drop card and a Points Meter with the points still up for grabs.
Upcoming Points Drops are announced in our Discord. React to "Points Program Beta" in the Roles channel to get pinged.

On the Drop page, choose "Apply for points" and pick your stream date, usually within the first 72 hours of the Drop going live.
Every application is reviewed by hand against the Drop's criteria, like similar games you have streamed and your region. Listing those games helps. You get an email either way.
Accept a Dare first
A Dare must be accepted before you go live, or your stream will not register. Finishing the Dare is optional.
Do not reject the first Dare you accepted once you are live: the stream would no longer count as delivered.
Stream for 2 hours
Play the game for at least 2 hours, share your Dare link with chat and put #DareDrop in your stream title.
You must be approved before the stream. If you are approved after streaming, stream again for 2 hours.
Get your points
Points are based on the viewers you bring to the Drop in your best 2 hours, capped by your 30-day average.
When the stream is delivered, the Points logo on the Drop turns purple.
Reserved for you
When you are approved, the most you can earn is set aside until your stream.
Points MeterExample
Your points stay reserved until the end of the day you picked. The default reservation window is 72 hours, and some Drops use anything from 24 to 120 hours.
Miss your window and the points go back to the Meter for other creators, and that Drop no longer earns you points.

Eligibility and applying
Am I eligible for points?
If you are a Twitch Partner with a 30-day average above 50 concurrent viewers, yes. We aim to open points to every creator later.
How does the application work?
Every application is reviewed by hand. Each Drop has its own criteria, like similar games you have streamed and your region. You get an email once you are approved or rejected. No email yet means the application is still pending, and you may still be approved if points return to the Meter.
Where do I find my deadline?
You see it when you apply. After approval, open "See Sponsorship Details" and hover the (i) next to "Points Reserved".
How do I hear about new Points Drops?
Points Drops are announced in our Discord. React to "Points Program Beta" in the Roles channel and you get a ping for every new one.
Streaming and earning
Do I need to complete the Dare?
No. Dares are optional to complete, but you have to accept one before you go live.
How are points calculated?
On the viewers you bring to the Drop in your best 2 hours, with a cap based on your 30-day average viewers.
What if I miss my stream date?
Your reserved points go back to the Points Meter and that Drop no longer earns you points.
I streamed but got no points. Why?
The usual reasons: no Dare was accepted, the Dare was accepted only after the stream started, or the first accepted Dare was rejected mid-stream. If none of these apply, open a support ticket in our Discord.
